ABOUT USThe Charter School

Welcome from the Principal

Greetings from The Charter School!

The journey began in June 2016. The cornerstone of our vision and mission while starting school is believing in the limitless possibilities within the child and helping the child explore and channel the same.

Our mission is to ensure that the boundless imagination that children are born with, is allowed to soar, while they engage in learning.

“Whatever you are, be a good one.” – Abraham Lincoln
This is the guiding principle for us. To help the child find his or her rightful place in the world.

To share a little bit about myself- I’m a passionate teacher and proud to have chosen to teach as my vocation. This is my 30th year of being a teacher. I share 2 thoughts that have always propelled me in my journey.

‘Teachers (must) have 3 loves – Love of learning, love of learners, and the love of bringing the first two loves together.”

“I believe the children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way, show them all the beauty they possess inside, give them a sense of pride – to make it easier, And let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be.”

The Charter School Pricipal

The past 4 years have been a successful journey in keeping with our mission. The happy and joyous students, the positive and encouraging parents, the cheerful, and dedicated teachers are the reward as well as the catalyst that takes us forward.

In December 2019, TRINS (Trivandrum International School) took over the management of the school with Mr. George M Thomas – Chairman and Ms. Sapnu George – CEO and Executive Director, at the helm. With close to 2 decades of experience in education and management, the future is very bright for The Charter School with this change.

As Principal & Dean of The Charter School, I invite you to understand our passion and purpose and join our learning community.
